Relief

I just figured I would post a follow up to my post from a month ago.

I’m beyond relieved and happy to report that I’m doing a million times better than I was this time last month. Unfortunately, the relief came at the expense of my job, but I’m still glad I decided to quit.

I actually feel like myself again. I feel like being social and creative again and am overall happy even though I have no friggin’ clue what my next step in life is supposed to be. But I’m confident that God will reveal that to me in due time. As long as I do my part of seeking Him and seeking out new opportunities, which I have been.

For a while there, I was legitmately afraid of who I was becoming. I watched myself spiral down into a deep sea of emotional despair and physical deterioration while feeling completely helpless to stop it. It was downright frightening, especially since I’ve dealt with clinical depression before and was noticing several of the same symptoms and tendencies.

But I’m fine now. Truly fine. And while being unemployed sucks, I actually feel relaxed, relieved, and rested.

So for those of you encouraged me, stood by me, and prayed for me, thank you! I’m slowly but surely bouncing back and becoming me again. And I couldn’t have done it without you all.

I have great friends! Thanks, everyone. <3
